  Was in the mood for some XLB, and found this on Yelp. I didn't end up ordering XLB because I changed my mind and got the pan fried dumplings, but I probably will go back to try the XLB next time, because I enjoyed my experience here :)
  
  Food: My boyfriend and I ordered the Dong Po Pork, Pan Fried Dumplings, Spicy Cauliflower, and Chicken Fried Rice.
  
  Dong Po Pork - This was my favorite out of all the dishes we ordered. The pork belly is a bit fatty, but it was so soft and melts in your mouth. The sauce was actually salty-sweet and balanced the pork and bak choy very well.
  
  Pan Fried Dumplings - Not mind blowing, but was good enough to hit the spot. The dumplings were not super oily considering it was pan fried. The bottom was crispy and the rest of it was nice and soft. There was a little bit of soup inside, but would've preferred it to be a bit more juicy.
  
  Spicy Cauliflower: I originally wanted the string beans to have some veggies in my meal, but they ran out so the server recommended this instead. I'm not good with spicy food especially Mala (numbing spiciness), but I really enjoyed this dish. The veggies were well cooked, and even after being coated in the sauce it wasn't too spicy. There was a slight kick and a light tingle sensation on your tongue for a few seconds but it doesn't numb you for the rest of the meal.
  
  Chicken Fried Rice: This was okay. It was pretty standard, a bit on the drier side actually. Probably wouldn't get it again..
  
  Service: Overall pretty good. Nothing stood out to me in particular, it was fast and attentive.
  
  Price: Felt like price was pretty good. Portion size was quite large too. The bill came out to be like $45 for four dishes, are we had a lot of leftover that could be another full 1.5 meals for the two of us.
  
  I'm not super knowledgable about Shanghainese food, but I felt that this place was great and reasonable and would definitely come back again!

  We were in the area and craving some Chinese food when we read about this place and decided to give it a try. It is a family owned restaurant and the owners do not understand English very well. Most of the ordering happened by pointing at the menu and trying to explain what we wanted. Kudos to the servers for being accommodating to our requests.
  We started off by ordering a portion of the pork dumplings but we requested it in some sort of sauce/gravy. The dumplings were stuffed well and the kitchen did a decent job with a mix of schezuan and hot sauce.
  In the mains we ordered a portion of the kung pao chicken and mapa tofu. Both dishes were sadly disappointing - the tofu curry lacked the proper flavour and the chicken itself wasn't cooked very well.
  Overall, it was an average neighbourhood chinese restaurant.

  Decent price, slow services and decent foods, nothing special!
  I came here on Saturday when they just open at 5PM. When I finished around 6 PM, it about 4 tables occupied.
  The Xao Long Bao was okay, the fried dumpling was good, the cure cold duck was bad as you can tell it was an old duck from couple days ago. I came here intention for the sticky rice with eel but they don't have eel instead pork. The sticky rice was good but the pork was nasty! It was old pork dry and flavorless. All the prices range from $6-16. The sticky rice was meant to be shared with 4-5 people since it was big portion cost around $17.
  Service was slow since only one person working there.
  Overall, none of the foods was memorable. Price was good but that all there to it! Parking is limited!

  The dishes we had were very well-cooked but the chef seems heavy-handed with the sauces. I found the flavors to be overpowering.
  
  One of my main disappointments was not being able to try their Shanghai dumplings because I was told it's unavailable because it was too early in the day.
  
  Their Dong po pork belly was very tender and texturally pleasant and having the baby bok choy helps to cut down on the saltiness. The pan fried pork buns were well executed with a nice thin skin that's beautifully crisp but the filling was too soy-sauce forward.
  
  I really enjoyed the salted pork with vegetable Rice because that's the only dish where I feel it's adequately salted, even though it 's supposed to be the main starch component. I can just eat that by itself as a dish.
  
  The hostess/server/bust person is literally one middle-aged lady who buzzes around doing everything. Kudos to her to keeping things afloat.
